When the time came to reinvent Laurel Point Inn (now named Inn at Laurel Point), the resort's management returned to Ledingham. We began by reconfiguring and refurnishing 65 rooms and suites in the south wing. The contemporary new look includes custom designed furnishings, lighting, and accessories. Existing bathrooms were in excellent condition and required only polishing and new vanity lighting. This phase of renovation also included new corridor carpets and wall coverings chosen to coordinate with the refurbished rooms.
Next, our transformation of the lounge now called Aura continued with an extensive upgrade, including installation of a glass curtain wall as well as electrical and mechanical alterations. Finishes and furniture were chosen to transition well from daytime to evening. The LED-illuminated glass columns and underlit onyx bar add mood and drama to the space.
Perhaps the best addition is the large basalt patio, which offers arguably the best view of Victoria’s inner harbour.
