The Erickson, a new luxury residential tower by Concord Pacific, is said to be a fusion of art and engineering, reflecting Arthur Erickson’s vision of transparent architecture with a twist. Ledingham Design Consultants was awarded the interior design for the public spaces and the private residences. This display suite, built for pre-sales, continues the theme of transparency and luxury intended for sophisticated clientele.
The extensive use of stone, custom wood millwork and layered glass throughout was designed to harmonize with the architecture. Special luxury features include private elevator access, an imported German kitchen with high-gloss lacquer and walnut finishes, a backlit ensuite mirror with integral television, and a backlit onyx powder room countertop with a glass sink. Design details throughout are very clean and tailored, with full height elements and coffered ceilings emphasizing the height and openness of the suites.
The result is a marriage of interior and exterior design that has the timeless Ledingham signature, understated and yet sophisticated.
